After what he's seen, he doesn't want his kids to be in the entertainment business.

He mentioned that if he had kids in the future, he would be against it if they wanted to have the choice of being an idol whereas Lay himself is an idol....interesting... i wonder what made him consider that way..

I think because He (actually everybody) knows very well that the entertainment industry is not what it actually seems like. Glittering only on the outside. The inside is very different.
The amount of constant pressure, both mentally and physically...

I understand his Parent mind. I can see why he wouldn't want that for his child.

I don’t blame him. With everything that goes on in the entertainment business, he has all the right to be concerned and say no. Good for him.

I personally think its because hes only seen the industry from a Chinese k-idol experience in SM
(we all know how terrible Sm is with their Chinese idols)
Also p.s. I'm in no way saying the industry is the beautiful glittery shows we see I know its dark, but it must be at least a bit more darker from Lay's point of view.
