yeah like I just decided enough of his shit. I decided to just distance myself after getting advice from my older sister, mom, therapist, school psychiatrist and friends. new year NEW ME FOR REALS (so far its been 5 days straight of me working out!!!)

Spoiler: the shit he pulled

I had been trying to long distance date w my guy best friend. during our short lived relationship, we'd vent to each other and in his vents he'd say how he wishes things'd go back to how they were- aka he missed his ex. that was so awkward for me and he never put in the time, texts, calls/facetimes into our relationship. and so after debating and a small mistake, I told him I wanted to break up & stay as friends. we did.
but he'd still sometimes call me sweet names in text and last Saturday night he flirted w me over text and I do the same and we go back and forth for like half an hour until he's like "so are we back together or what seet pie?" and I blank out.
I debated with myself and was like well he's my friend, lets give it one more try. and so I'm like "sure but lets take it slow this time"
he doesn't text back and then minutes later he's like "oh I'm just joking about it"

why would he text me all those flirty lines and those like stuff. why would he pursue something and say that and do that.
