The members were choosen by the survival show "GIRLS PLANET 999" in August/September/October 2021.
The debut date is set in December 2021.
The duration of KEP1ER's contract is 2 years and 6 months.

Ngl, I didn't watch a single episode of Girls Planet 999. But honestly? I'm probably gonna stan anyway. I'm really glad Yujin made it bc she's very talented & Cube did her dirty; she deserves this. Also, Yeseo! Idk much abt Busters, but I'm very attached to them for reasons I can't explain, so I'm glad Yeseo gets this chance as well. And I'm curious abt Bahiyyih as well..

I think there will be no center for Kep1er and you can see that in their first practice video.

They switch center positions for every members throughout the performance.

The concept of the center position is from SM idols and AKB48 groups.
