Wonho’s departure from Monsta X 😒😢😞

Honestly I don't even know how I feel... But I really feel like crying...

Monsta X was the group that really got me into Kpop 4 years ago and they were my absolute ult group until this years summer.... Wonho was my first bias ever and even tho Jooheon took over, he always stayed and had a special place in my heart....
It pains me to see him leave so suddenly.. I was so happy about the amazing Album that they released only a few days ago, so it just seams surreal that this is happening so suddenly...

On the other hand I am just angry that there are people out there who are only there to spread hate and ruin others lifes...
WE ARE ALL HUMAN and EVERYONE does mistakes at some point in their life but that doesnt automatically make us a bad person. Our past selfes shouldn't matter when the person we are right now is clearly different....

I think thats all my mind can come up with for now...
I wish Monsta X, Monbebes and especially Wonho all the best and to stay strong!

Since finding out about this, I’ve been deciding whether or not to comment on it, since I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings since a lot of people here seem to be Monbebe’s.

but...

I believe there’s more to the story than just the rumor he borrowed money from someone and didn’t pay them back (That could also be true and Starship is just floating bullshit our way) but we’ll probably never know.

I don’t think a little rumor like that would cause someone to just wake up and decide to leave their group, unless there’s more to the story. Wonho himself even mentioned that he was immature in the past and made mistakes, big & small, and as with everyone, those mistakes will catch up with you later on in life.

I won’t be signing the petition to bring him back because it was HIS choice to leave. No one kicked him out, he could have stayed and just let Starship handle it, but clearly he’s feeling guilty about something he’s done, that’s the only way I could see that he would want to leave. Again, it was his choice to leave, he wasn’t kicked out (which would be a totally different thing) and even if the petition does get enough signatures, it will still be up to Wonho if he wants to rejoin the group.

Please to every Monbebe take some time to sign for this petition with hopes of keeping our boy in the group. What is happening right now is beyond ridiculous, he doesn't deserve this at all. He didn't do anything wrong to leave like that. Let's try our best and let hope die last

One of the two people who have targeted him has also targeted Shownu, B.I, T.O.P, V, Taeyong, Exo and many more. She lives to destroy idols' careers and she's still roaming around freely and keeps doing it.....

Yeah I know about the Shownu part as well as well as the rest of these idols that you’ve mentioned, cause that lady is absolutely a completely danger to society and an attention seeker. And yet people still follow her on social media anyways....

I understand where you are coming from but from what the statement said he left cause he didn't want anyone of his members getting hurt as well as the company. He may have felt guilty yes but it seemed like most of the guilt was that he would drag his members down along with him as he mentioned that the members had nothing to do with it

We want to sign as a way of showing that we support him and love him no matter what his past may have been like. We all have made mistakes, big or small that may haunt us for a long time but it's unfair to bring it up when clearly he tried to change for the better. It's like this... Imagine you once did something horrible, and you tried to change and become a better person, you succeed and all in life goes well. Then let's say you aim to be CEO of A Company and you are very capable but just as they are about to announce your win someone digs up your past and uses it against you and in the end you decide to back out because your past is now known to the world. ( Horrible example but anyhooo...)

It's unfair that his past has been held against him and It is devastating to know that was his decision though he's clearly changed

That's the only reason I wonder if there's more to it, like if this controversy is just that bad. I'm not into Monsta X so I don't know anything about him, but from what people have been saying he seems like a nice guy, so I feel bad. We live in a 'cancel culture' where everyone is quick to end someone's career over something miniscule from the past, so I'm wary, but you never know I guess.

That's true, I know every member who has left their group recently had a lot of controversy surrounding their departure and this one is just a lot worse, probably because this is the biggest group so far. I was actually gonna try to stan Monsta X but I think I'll put that on hold for now due to not only this but the responses from everything. I almost feel like the company didn't really fight for their member? Maybe that's just me, idk.
