Which one is better - China or Japan?

Well it depends on what the project is. If it's on which country is more sadistic and communist, pick China! (I'm sorry, I had to). Ok that was a sort of political joke.
Personally, I would pick China for its rich history and its dark turn to communism. If this is an ancient history project, definitely this.
