What's your story of getting into Kpop?

~3 years ago I started watching asian dramas, at first chinese dramas then I gradually came to watching k-dramas. ~2.5 years ago I discovered kpop and my first 3 kpop songs were Lucifer, RingDingDong, Hello by Shinee, a few months before dna by bts came out I finally discovered BTS. When I listened to their song I need u, I realised that I have already heard it ~2 years ago from that moment, at that time my brother was listening to it and I just had heard it by chance, but I didn't know who sang the song and which country they were from. So my very first kpop song I listened to was I need u by bts, I just didn't know about its association with kpop.

Almost a year ago (yes, I’m pretty new in here) a friend created for me a BTS playlist while we were in England. I completely fell in love with Silver Spoon and then I started to listen to them and other awesome artists!!! It changed my life and helped me in growing during this year, and I hope it will do the same in future

i kept seeing bts’ jimin on my twitter timeline n i thought he was rlly rlly pretty so i watched the blood sweat & tears mv n ended up becoming a kpop stan that same day lol

in 2016, i was in a summer vacation and i visited my friends, they were showing me kpop mvs and bts' pics, i wasn't interested at all, but 2 years later, i was like maybe i should give it a chance, so i watched bts' blood sweat & tears and i loved it A LOT and thats how i started getting deeper and deeper into kpop and discovered more groups and joined many fandoms

I had a stan account for an artist and their fans were always bashing bts and kpop in general so I decided to look them up to hate on them too but I ended up loving them haha
