there's a lot of good groups out there so it's hard to give a recommendation without feeling like you've left someone out lol BUT consider checking out knk, they have really good music and choreos (please watch this performance video, it's a literal masterpiece) and they're so underrated : (( the members are super talented and nice (i've been fortunate enough to see them live, 100% can confirm they're great)

they've been through a lot, a bit over a year ago one of the members was diagnosed with panic disorder so he had to go on a hiatus (he later left the group completely) and then their company kinda went bankrupt so they terminated their contracts - this was a really tough time (we were worried they would disband), but they stuck together and moved to a new company (it's not super clear, but i think it's a new company made especially for them); they added a new member this year (he was friends with them before though, he and the maknae have known each other for like 9 years) and their most recent comeback absolutely SLAPS it's called sunset please check it out !!

here's some random fun facts about knk to help you get into them (if you decide to):

>their fandom name is tinkerbell (BIG UWU), it was picked by one of the members (seoham) - he said that knk are peter pan and tinkerbells are small cute fairies who will protect them and in return knk will protect tinkerbells (BIG fucking U W U); seoham keeps buying merch with tinkerbell, he used to have a tinkerbell phone case and recently when they went to paris he bought a big tinkerbell doll and went to the cinema with it lol (he posted a pic of the doll in a cinema chair with the caption "tinkerbell(s), have fun watching!")​

>knk debuted around the same time as astro - astro's debut was like a week earlier than knk's, so technically astro are knk's "sunbaes" and it was so funny bc knk (super tall dudes dressed in suits/leather jackets) would jokingly refer to astro (tiny kids in pastel sweaters & overalls) as their seniors and bow XD​

>they hold the record for the longest vlive broadcast - it lasted like 12 hours o-o​

>some of the members used to be bighit trainees and there are some funny pre-debut photos of them with bts members​

>one of the members has a really cute dog (it's small and white so they called it ,,,, tissue hskdsnvks) and the dog has its own instagram account lol​

Seeing the overall style of music you're into, I'd say NCT (I know it's too many members but if you start with one unit, it will come naturally to learn about them!) or A.C.E, they are 5 members that deserve so much more recognition! Amazing dancers, started by doing busking in the streets. And my personal favorite: iKON, one of the biggest crackheads out there (if not the biggest).
