Fans are mad about WHAM!88's ages
WHAM!88 officially announced their member's positions. Yoonhye is 19, Aram, Jihyo and Yoonhye are 16, and Kelly is 14. PREP released an official announcement about fan's concerns today:
Hello, this is PREP Entertainment.
We realize a bunch of fans are uncomfortable with minors debuting in K-Pop, but we are trying to do something no one else has done before. We also want to show that there are more to teenagers than school and disrespect. WHAM!88 is going to be the future idols for young children all around the world.
Some comments from fans:
-These idols are too young, especially Kelly.
-I don't care what PREP says, this isn't okay.
-I'm excited for debut!
-We'll see if this works in the industry!
-I give them three weeks until disbandment.
