It was recently announced that a girl group that was formed through a controversial survival show has lost a member shortly after the show concluded. The highly controversial survival show Time Turner’s first episode aired last year on November 8th on Tiktok and was immediately hit with backlash from netizens due to its poor quality. When the show's last episode aired on November 22nd it was revealed that the final lineup of the group would consist of Korean Sim Yerin, Indonesian Cleo, Korean-American Lea Navvab, Chinese Lu Yuting, and Korean Kelly Kim.
After the final lineup was revealed a lot of netizens were upset with the members that were chosen due to their poor performances throughout the show. While their debut date has not yet been confirmed their Pl Corporation recently announced that the group's name would be I.MET.U and that Lu Yuting would no longer be debuting in I.MET.U. After that announcement, some netizens felt that the group was doomed from the start and that they might not debut at all.
