Thoughts on long distant relationships?

My questions for you are.. Do you think long distant relationships are worth it? If so why? If not why? I for one thing they are worth a lot because you never now what could happen later on in that relationship. Maybe you guys don't work out. Maybe you do work out. It all depends on how close and how much you love and care for that person.

I have A long distant relationship. I've been Dating him for two years almost three. And He's Amazing. What I'm trying to say if He truly want's to be with you then He'll Make It work.

I’ve tried LDRs before and they’ve always ended badly for me, because the people catfished me.

But my online best friend was in one. She met her boyfriend on Facebook in 2012 and they dated for 9 months before her and her parents flew out to meet him and fast forward to 9 years later, they’re living together and have 2 kids. So, they do work, if both parties are willing to put in the effort ^^

Of course! I’ve honestly thought about trying again, since I am not interested in anyone around here where I live, but my trust issues say “no, bad idea” lol

I would honestly prefer them but both of mine havn't worked out (more so because i didnt like the person) but i mean im pretty young so eh idk i dont think im ready for a relationship yet so yeah

like what others are saying them working out depends on how much effort is put in

It was funny because 2 out of 4 of the LDRs I had, two ended up being girls who pretended to be boys because they didn’t think I liked girls, another lied about her age, and the other stopped talking to me when I refused to send nudes(he was the only dude, imagine that)

I think if you really truly care about the person then yes, if you love them a lot it is worth it. Some people work well with long distance as other people don’t. For me I believe if it’s true love, it doesn’t matter the distance, if they are all you seem to think about, wanna be around then they are surely worth it.
If you don’t work out then it is what it is, it wasn’t meant to be, sometimes people are better friends than dating each other
