I don't know how I feel about the song? It wasn't what I was expecting but I also don't know what I was expecting. I think it's good?

I honestly think the song is pretty bland and repetitive. The hook is so cringy and just sounds stupid "Cause when we jumping its popping we jopping", I rest my case. SuperM is supposed to get the US into kpop and I doubt anyone is going to take "Jopping" seriously. I love me some NCT, EXO gots some great songs and Taemin is great too, I was really hoping for better. I don't want to be a hater and I was really hoping for SuperM to be awesome, but I'm pretty disappointed. Hopefully the mini album will be better but judging by the titles I don't think it will be. Sorry for my rant.

The song is not bad and I hope the best for them but honestly for me well there's something off about it. No hate, I liked it but I didn't love it 
I’m having mixed feelings about this...I want to like the song but I don’t know, it’s going to have to grow on me...I will say my boo Kai looked delicious af though. I’m going to listen to a few more of their songs before deciding if I’ll be stanning or not

I thought that too at first but I think it actually has a meaning tho...
I translated it into my language (which is german) and it meant something like "joking" or "joking around with someone"... but I have never heard the english term before
I think they choose the word because it rhymed with the others before but idk

I love the actual song part of it, but I wish they had written different lyrics for it. The concept of Jopping is just a little weird. I don’t think it’ll get people who don’t like kpop into it. They’ll probably pass it by as dumb or cringy. I really like the song and music video itself though.
Ah this is such a controversial thing...
1. Lyrics in kpop aren't really the deepest thing. Like, the biggest and catchiest bops? Yeah, they usually don't have profound bridges, choruses nor anything, it's something that phonetically catches our attention and that's pretty much it.
2. USA market isn't really going to focus on lyrics bc most of it is pretty ignorant/racist so they gonna be like "oh they speaking chinese lololol" even if they are clearly singing in English.
3. The chorus is pretty catchy and that's the important thing, so yeah. Still, I need to listen to the song at least five more times because it didn't sound interesting to me, probably because I've been into kpop for quite a long time so I'm already used to it, but probs for someone new in the Western it might sound interesting. I still feel like it could've been so much better but hey, it's SM, they disappoint when you expect the best and surprise you when you have no expectations at all.
