I got this idea from @blink's thread in the random k-pop section. I put it here because these songs aren't k-pop at all, but they are some of my favorite western songs. If you guys check them out & actually like them, I will be surprised & so happy lol. Let's go.
1. Broken - Sonata Arctica (they're a band from Finland & there is no official MV but here's a lyric video)
2. Pennyroyal Tea - Nirvana (one of my favorite Nirvana songs)
3. 505 - Arctic Monkeys
Listening to this is such an experience, it's almost as if being a dream. Definitely a "road trip" song.
4. Riptide - Vance Joy
Found this one a couple years ago on a playlist & fell in love. Def. a go to summer song.
5. Afraid - The Neighbourhood
Choosing just one favorite TB song is so hard because I love all their songs.
6. Millstone - Brand New
One of my favorite high school jams.
7. The Summer - Citizen
One of my absolute favorite songs from one of my favorite pop punk bands.
8. Calling All Cars - Senses Fail
This was my emo anthem in 2008-2009. I kid ya'll not when I say this was the song I listened to on the way to school & home lol.
9. Another Life - Motionless in White
My goth boys. That's all you need to know. But this song slaps.
10. Defame Me - New Years Day
For my last song, I want to show off my wife (haha) but really, NYD is one of my favoritr female fronted metal bands & I can't believe this song/mv is 5 years old. 23 year old me was obsessed with it when it came out.
