I love all guys but I'm not exactly fond of the idea of this 'popular members concept'. I'm sure their songs will be bops but SM really doesn't know what is called proper management..

Why wouldn't he include some of his American members aswell tho? If the sole purpose of it was to unite East and West why not include a member that would set a perfect example for it; I'm talking about Johnny. Nothing against the members he chose to form it eventually but it's just unfair and I don't think Johnny lacks at anything when it comes to dance, vocals or rap...

That's a good point. But I guess in his eyes, he does. He doesn't get many lines compared to other members and such. I do agree that Johnny has the visuals, rap and such. But the man ( sm ) doesn't see that. Also, it's quite known that SM treats their foreign idols differently.
( Mark is also from overseas but gets more lines and things, which confuses me :< )

That's what I also don't get; how Mark managed to get away from SM's discrimination against his foreign signees.
I mean the guy trained for almost 10 years and he's continuously been kept in the dungeon, he doesn't even get enough lines in the English versions of NCT's songs

Exactly, and some other members ( like winwin ) are getting nothing at all. Like, what's the point of having a person join a group if they are not going to get the opportunity to get spotlight...

That's why I sometimes have doubts over the concept of NCT. What's the point of making a group with unlimited number of members when you have no idea how to properly use them? Out of all members only 4-5 get some decent treatment when it comes to the line distribution and it's always the same members. It's not the guys' fault ofc , it's all because of SM's stupidity....

I feel that NCT was an attempt to hit big. NCT has been promoting in the US lately, probably meaning SM wanted NCT in the western market
. They have Chinese members to promote in china, he's doing it for the money ig : /

Yeah, it's sad. Companies don't care for their idols since they are easy to replace. It sucks that they see them as objects and not people.
Wait, didnt they already try this kind of thing with Younique Unit? Or is it somehow different?
