Should Irene Leave Red Velvet?

Ever since her scandal happened, I've been seeing a lot of article and people saying that Irene should leave Red Velvet.
I don't really have a concrete opinion because I feel like I don't know enough about the situation. I think that if she made her amends with everyone, seriously reflected, and altered her bad behavior then she shouldn't have to leave. But if the apologies were all just for the sake of the public, then idk.
I also don't want to split up the group and mess up the lives of the remaining 4 members.
It's all so confusing to me. And I doubt that she will leave just because she is one of SM's 'favorites', and based on the radio silence from her and SM, they have viewed the issue to have been blown over now.
But SM could be using the new group to smother Red Velvet, like what they did with f(x). So it would be a less radical move.

What do you all think?

I'm still thinking about it, I'm not sure if she should leave. Id admit, that was wrong but she shouldn't leave over that.

I don't think she should leave. Hear me out before you start criticizing.

Everyone has issues with attitude once in a while and with some specific people. Just because she's an idol doesn't automatically mean she's supposed to be an angel 100% of the time. She's human and that means she's allowed to be snippy every now and then.

Now, with that being said I don't have specific knowledge of what she said and what she is being accused of, therefore I cannot say that she did/didn't cross a line with what she said. Also just because I say she's allowed to have snippy days now and then doesn't excuse her to be excessively rude or mean.

BUt that's my opinion.

i'd heard around the grapevine that the outburst was because of a technical mishap/mistake along the lines of a mic or in-ear mildly electrocuting her.....ngl if i was in that position i would've been throwing a fit myself.

i don't really feel too strongly either way about her leaving the group, but i don't think it's likely.

(on another note, was anyone else reminded of the naomi campbell cellphone incident when they heard about this? maybe they should just have irene do some community service.)

That actually happened a couple of days before the incident but maybe she was still angry about it when she insulted the stylist

oh goodness.... but i mean, we're all human. if a regular person did this, they would apologize and everyone would move on and no more would be said of it. we treat these idols like they're not human, like they're supposed to be better than us, but they're not. they're human, and flawed, just like we all are. we can't flip out every time they show their human side! they can be stressed, exhausted, and overworked. i mean, i would snap too! she shouldn't have to leave the group just for that :c

I don’t think she should leave, but I’m indifferent on the situation because I feel like I need more details to make a decision on her true character. I’m just gonna let it be and see what happens. I’m glad she apologized and didn’t deny it happened
