Y/N meaning Your Name. I think I am going to change that when re-writing the story. When I make a story I re-write it so I can put it all together and show the finishing product when I'm done

Chapter 3:
As a storm began to howl outside, the power flickered and died. In the dim glow of a flashlight,
Y/N
stumbled upon
Chan
’s leather-bound notebook left open. It wasn't filled with sketches or memories, but with detailed observations of her own habits, notes on her favorite things, and a map of the woods with certain spots marked in red.
The realization that her best friend’s devotion had crossed into obsession was as chilling as the cold wind seeping through the floorboards.
"We have to go,"
Jungwon
urged, finding her in the dark. He grabbed her hand, his own shaking. "The boat is still at the dock. If we leave now, we can make it to the main road."

Y/N tried to warn him but it was to late.
Jungwon fell the sharp breaths of Chan on his neck. He froze. Jungwon quickly cuts the rope and kicks the boat to let you drift away.
You scream and scream until you can't breath.
Jungwon runs away Chan still looking at you. Not mad, not sad, just disappointed.
But it was a look you have never seen before.
Chan soon turned around and then chased after Jungwon, but it was a that moment that you realized
Chan had something sharp in his hand.

IM GO

Chapter 1 Book two:
Your heart hammered against your ribs, a frantic, sickening rhythm that matched the terrifying stillness of the shoreline. The silence that followed the clang was louder than your screamβ€”a heavy, suffocating blanket that seemed to drown out the sound of the lake water lapping against the hull.
β€œJungwon!” you shrieked again, the sound tearing at your throat.
You stood up in the small boat, rocking it violently, heedless of the danger of tipping into the freezing black water. The shoreline was a dark blur of trees, and they were gone.
They were gone.
You grabbed the oars, your hands trembling so violently you could barely grip them. You had to go back. You had to see. But the panic held you paralyzed, a cold, icy dread rooting you to the spot.
Slowly, the silhouette of a figure emerged from the treeline.
It wasn't Jungwon.
It was Chan.
He was walking back toward the water's edge, his movements still, calm, and maddeningly unhurried. He was wiping his hand on a cloth, the sharp metal object gone. As he reached the edge of the trees, he turned, looking directly at the boat.
Even from this distance, you felt the weight of his gaze. It wasn't the look of a killer satisfied with his work; it was the look of a teacher who had just disposed of a failed experiment. The disappointment was still there, cold and detached.
He stood there, watching you drift, a silent sentinel in the encroaching dark. He didn't smile. He didn't make a move to come out into the water. He simply waited.
And you realized, with a sickening jolt, that the silence wasn't because it was over.
The silence was because you were next.

IT IS A LITTLE LONGER THAN USUAL BECAUSE I HAD MORE TIME TO WORK ON IT.
ING TO CRYYYY NAURRRRR T0T

Chapter 3 book two:
"Don'tβ€”" Jungwon gasped, trying to swat your hand away as you reached for his side, but he lacked the strength. His hand fell back against the fiberglass, weak. "Save yourself."
"Shut up, Won," you hissed, the adrenaline making your voice tremble. You ripped open the emergency kit, your fingers fumbling with the plastic wrapping of the gauze.
Chan was knee-deep now. He wasn't rushing. He didn't need to. He was treating this like a predator that had already cornered its prey, enjoying the absolute terror radiating from the boat.
"He's going to kill us both," Jungwon choked out, a thin line of red bubbling at the corner of his mouth.
"Not today." You pressed the thick pad of gauze against the wound, forcing him to grunt in pain. You didn't stop, wrapping the medical tape around his torso with shaking, frantic hands. Blood was already soaking through the first layer, hot and sticky against your skin.
You looked up, scanning the console. The engine was dead, sabotaged, but there was a flare gun in the emergency kit. Your hand closed around it.
Splash. Splash.
Chan was ten feet away. He stopped, the water reaching his thighs. He finally spoke, his voice calm, conversational, and utterly terrifying in the quiet night. "You can’t fix him, (Y/N). Let him go. It's easier that way."
Jungwon’s eyes fluttered shut, his head lolling back against the hull. "Go..." he whispered one last time.
A surge of protective desperation overcame the cold grip of fear. Standing over Jungwon to shield his weakened form, the flare gun was leveled steadily at the figure in the water.
"Don't come any closer," the command rang out, voice strained but unwavering.
Chan paused, his calculated movements momentarily halted. He looked from the orange barrel of the flare gun to the fierce resolve in the eyes of his target. The silence of the marsh was suddenly pierced by a new soundβ€”the low, rhythmic thrum of a powerful engine echoing from beyond the bend in the river.
The sound grew louder, accompanied by a sweeping beam of light that cut through the mist, searching the shoreline.
Recognizing the changing tide of the situation, Chan cast a final, unreadable glance toward the boat before backing away. He retreated into the shadows of the treeline, vanishing into the dense brush just as the rescue vessel rounded the corner.
The flare gun remained raised until the other boat pulled alongside, its spotlight illuminating the deck. Only then did the adrenaline begin to ebb, replaced by the urgent need to tend to Jungwon. Dropping to the deck, hands pressed firmly against the makeshift bandages, the focus shifted entirely to the shallow rise and fall of his chest and the hope that help had arrived in time.
