That's essentially the only genre I like enough to stan groups for. It should be heavy enough to get my full attention.

As of these days, I'm focusing my attention on Japan. All of my stanned idol groups perform some kind of rock music. My top favourite metal band is also Japanese; GALNERYUS.

does anyone here like baby metal?
I like them, but I'm not a big fan. For some reason that I fail to pinpoint, they failed to interest me enough to stan. They're good to have on a playlist, and that's it.

I'm happy to see that other people on the site enjoy rock music. It's my favorite genre altogether :3
Well, you now know why I'm not interested on kpop; no rock heavy enough to stan.

Fair. Have you listened to Dreamcatcher before? They more of a rock sound.
That's a memory of mine. They used to be my top biased group and I stanned them. Unfortunately, they shied away from it and when they released Scream, I unstanned. I now just look forward to their Japanese stuff which it's actually better than ever; but they are not primarily a jpop group, so I still not stan. I had still been looking forward to any bside from their Korean works that may still come in their original rock sound; but it was a major disappointment as well. So no, I don't follow Dreamcatcher save for their Japanese releases.

is it because it has a more EDM influence rather than rock/metal? i haven’t listened to scream in awhile so i don’t remember exactly what it sounds like

@Betsemes Do you listen to any Western rock artists?
I began liking metal back in the 80's. My first favourite was Quiet Riot. Then I expanded to a few; but unfortunately, by then I went religious and I stopped listening to metal save for a few christian metal bands. Then, in the early 2000's, I used to listen to European extreme metal bands. The likes of Children of Bodom, Shadows Fall, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir, etc. I liked also symphonic metal; bands like Nightwish, Within Temptation, etc. I'm sure I'm forgetting many. I'm just focusing on Japan right now.
