the ones i consider my friends are ppl who talk to me on their own; i'm not always the one walking up to them or texting them first. people I can trust with anything bc they can keep secrets. Ppl who won't judge me. Ppl who will lift me up. Ppl who don't consider me a back up friend. When there are other ppl around, ppl that i don't really know, they make sure to make me feel included. Our conversations never get dry.. and even when we're far apart for a long period of time, the friendship stays the same. They've never talked bad about me and they're always honest. ykwim? so that being said, yes i only have 3 close friends. There are people who may say 'hi' or may wish me a happy birthday or who i've known for a long time.. but I don't consider them my friends. Js maybe acquaintances.
i think everyone has their own definition for what a 'friend' is. mine is js more picky and complex
and as far as my reputation, ppl have always talked bad about me and spread rumors. And I told someone a very big secret about a year ago, and he went and told everyone about it. I lost 3 friends in that process and now they absolutely hate my guts. Then, I almost got expelled for something back in May, and it was on recording and a lot of ppl witnessed it in person. Hardly anyone could look at me the same
