I'mma be so fr, even after almost a decade of knowing Chinese, I just know pinyin without tones for the more complex expressions. Tones matter when you say them, but I have that part down, so I don't write the tones if I'm using pinyin. Idk, that might be a bad habit

lol its not, when you type you don't need the tones
but on paper you do
