1) it could be in a friend term, cause a guy friend I had would text me that then again later on I got the vibe he liked me . it could also be that he likes you?
2) idk every boy is different. but if he pays more attention or tries talking to you more maybe then?
3) idk. I've never had one and my parents are trusting so I don't hide much from them

i would advise not hiding anything from ur parents.
it only ends badly trust me.
i understand ur parents might be strict but its better to tell them than lying
