okay, so. neos and xenos are most commonly used by autistic ppl (not always). some ppl just feel comfortable w using neos and xenos, so those are their pronouns. but back to autistic ppl. it's proven that autistic ppl experience most things differently than "normal" ppl (aka, neurotypical ppl, but most ppl type nt ppl bc it's shorter lol), and one of those includes gender. autistic ppl are more likely to be lgbt than nt ppl, hence why so many autistic ppl use neos. it just helps them to be more comfortable in their own skin, rather than trying to conform to smth they'll never be. i myself am autistic and queer, but i don't feel comfortable using neos for myself; everyone's different. it's okay not to understand neos and such, but outright refusing to use them and mocking them is inherently ableist. does that make sense?
