Mental health is important in many different ways. First of all, it dictates how we think, feel, and act, impacting our overall well-being, physical health, ability to cope with stress, and to build relationships, work productively, and contribute to our communities.
Did you know that your brain is like a protective engine that literally hallucinates your reality before it happens can literally make you see reality before it happens? Your brain does not doesn't only take new information from your senses, but instead it uses past experiences to predict what you're about to see, hear, or fear. As a result to this reason, there are many more cool facts about mental health, which is a very important topic as it, controlling your life and the way you work respond to your surroundings.
While the brain is incredibly powerful, it can sometimes be way too immensely vulnerable, leaving you at risk of getting some of the deadliest mental health defects disorders like eating disorders problems, substance use, and schizophrenia spectrum disorder.
Firstly, let's take a look at eating disorders. Eating disorders can greatly impact your physical health because as stated by CDC, “Mental health is closely linked to physical health...” (insert apa or mla format citation (author + page number)). Eating disorders are mostly commonly a compression of restrictive eating, eating a lot in a short amount of time, and/or avoiding food or certain foods and many more. Furthermore, eating disorders can be deadly just by in view of the fact that it can affect your body and the way you see yourself as a person. Some people even hate their body so much it leads to them taking their life.
Another point worth noting is schizophrenia spectrum disorder, commonly known as schizophrenia, one of its levels. Schizophrenia spectrum disorder comes with many different levels to it. Firstly we have schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is the most common out of all types. Schizophrenia It is composed of severe disruptions in thought and behavior, marking it hard to socialize. As Mayo Clinic states, “people with schizophrenia may not be able to function in the way they could before their illness”(insert proper apa or mla format citation). As the Cleveland Clinic says that “...mental health shapes your emotions and actions...” (see before feedback).
To sum up my this paper, your mental health is really a big part of your life. Whether you are 1, 5, 7, or 11 years old, your mind is always developing and processing things in various ways, with or without technology. As far as I am concerned whether you are 1, 5, 6 or 7 your mind is always developing new ways of thinking and processing with or without technology.
