In music terms, it's like discovering your favorite kpop group and feeling the same way. You'll never feel quite the same way, of course you still love em, they're your favorite group for f*cks sake, in fact your love will probably go larger for them the more you listen to them. But the joy of listening to them for the first time doesn't quite compare. Idk, it's hard to explainI finished it! It's hard to live life knowing that I'll never experience such peak for the first time again (half joking btw) . I'm still going to love it forever, I already do with Toradora and that was the first anime to make me feel like this. I knew it wasn't a mistake as I watched like 12 anime before watching Toradora at the time, and none made me feel like I did with Toradora despite some of those first 12 being in my top 30, and two of them even in my top 10 as well. No matter how much anime I've watched, it's still my favorite. Soon I will reach the milestone of watching 3,000 animes (Jesus, I have no life ;_; ), but after all that Toradora is still the G.O.A.T.
But even so, just like with Toradora, nothing will compare to the emotions I had while I watched it for the first time. It's like eating something for the first time in your life not knowing that it will become one of your favorite foods ever, taking the first experience for granted until it's too late.
