One thing that mildly infuriates me is aespa’s official stylised name is just wrong according to the IPA chart.

aespa is pronounced like es-per correct? The ae sound in their name would match that of what you hear in the word “friend”. However their name is stylised as æspa.

The æ sound is used to transcribe the ah sound, like apple. /æpl/

How aespa is pronounced would be transcribed as /ɛspə/

Basically when you say æspa linguistically you’re calling them “asspa”

The government has been lying to you all but I’m here to reveal the truth

Eggs were only invented in the 20th century.
You see, Creme Eggs were invented in 1963 as a little silly snack and the chocolatiers made it an odd shape and filled it with weird coloured fondant just for the lols. But people liked them so much.

So the idea came about to create a savoury version of a creme egg. They didn’t know how to produce them though, so they got chickens and they put these genes in them which makes them produce eggs. Chickens weren’t the first animal they did this to though so that’s why there are a lot of animals that lay eggs now but we don’t eat them. But yeah. Chickens produced the best result and now we have a savoury version of a creme egg. Isn’t that so cool
