Ummmm baby girl you lowkey do have to be back to wear cornrows… and just think about the significance braids can have on ancient Africa?. Like Native American people have their own symbolization and for someone else to wear them, they would get bashed a lot… so just low-key have empathy and imagine how it is for those ancestors who have tried really hard to make braids a thing for just someone else who isn’t even in their league to wear them like there’s a story. It’s not just a costume you get to wear. And this low-key makes me so upset because I’m African and some people think it’s OK to wear braids when it sometimes isn’t….
