question about younger idols

I've been pondering this question for a while and I just want to hear other people's opinion.
With all the new groups debuting, I'm finding that some idols are younger than me (born after 2002).
My question is..... Is it weird to admire or 'idolise' idols that are younger than you?

My opinion
I don't think it's weird to enjoy music or be a fan of an idol that is younger than you, but I would feel a little uncomfortable having a poster of idols like 2 years younger than me up in my room.
I do think that SEXUALISING younger idols is gross ( I think sexualising idols is gross but especially bad if they are underage) and there is a line between being a fan and being a predator.

Just one more thing, just because you are underage as well doesn't make it okay to thirst tweet about an underage idol, your not cool or funny you just sound like a 50-year-old man

i dont see a problem with admiring an idol who is younger than u, as long as u just respectfully enjoy their music without the added creepy stuff. like u said, imo it just goes too far when people start sexualizing young idols (or anyone really but yeah)

Thankfully, there aren’t many idols that younger than me so I’ve never had that problem
If they are younger than me they’re usually around the same age as me so idk if it would be creepy per say

I don't think it's creepy to admire and appreciate them, but like you said, there is a line that should never be crossed.
Anyways, with many of the younger idols they don't feel much younger than me, because based on age they would have been going to the same school as me at one point in time, just in different grades. I also live in the US, so people born in 2002 become legal adults in 2020 and the rest are nearly there, so it doesn't weird me out.

There aren't many idols younger than me but I think it's ok to idolize them. If you are creepy about it then there's no harm, right?

Yeah also long as you respect the idol that is younger than you than its fine to admire a younger idol but if you sexualizing about a younger idol thats wrong and gross in a way and you would make that idol feel uncomfortable.
