Ik i cooked lol 
not my best work but I wrote this for a school project last year

I live beneath a gaze that never blinks.
It follows me into mirrors,
settles into glass and light,
waits patiently for me to fail it.
My body is translated badly
rendered in a language of distortion,
where softness becomes excess
and existence must justify its shape.
I am edited by thought alone.
Angles sharpen.
Silences widen.
What is harmless becomes unbearable
simply by being seen too closely.
There is a quiet violence
in the way I observe myself
as if scrutiny were honesty,
as if tenderness were a lie
I was never allowed to learn.
I move through the world
as something unfinished,
a draft marked in red,
each flaw circled by a voice
that sounds unreasonably calm.
Self‑hate does not arrive suddenly.
It accumulates.
A look held too long.
A comparison absorbed without question.
A belief repeated until it feels earned.
I become smaller in my own presence,
not by disappearing,
but by doubting the right
to take up what space I do.
And yet this body persists
not beautifully,
not bravely,
but faithfully.
It carries me even as I mistrust it.
It exists without asking permission.
Perhaps that is what unsettles me most,
that something so imperfect
continues,
quietly refusing the story
I tell about it.
