• Love Dive (SOTY)
  • love dive does not deserve soty in whatever case. it was a mid song and there are a lot of better songs
• nmixx (favourite new artist)
  • those of you who know me already know the reasoning behind this
• j-hope (most popular male artist)
  • im not really unhappy about this, just very suprised

yeah thats all, maybe a fourth is that BTS (as usual) got A LOT (maybe too much)

I think gidle should have won best female artist over blackpink
I don't like that BTS won album of the year with an anthology album that only had 3 new songs. 3 songs is not an album...
I think only albums that contain original tracks, not previous ones, should be qualified to win. No matter how many orders it may have received.

I didn’t really watch the show so I don’t have much input on performances. I did watch ITZY’s and ofc my girls did great, but it was a little underwhelming compared to last year. And it’s a shame coz they could’ve done this whole wonderland set coz Sneakers has this wacky odd vibe and would’ve totally worked well with it

As for awards. I shall go through all the ones I have any input on:
Artist of the Year: I knew BTS would win, but I don’t think they should’ve. I think (G)I-DLE actually deserved this more, because even though I wasn’t in love with Tomboy it was iconic and Nxde just added to that
Song of the Year: Love Dive was my predicted winner, the winner I wanted, the winner I think deserved it and the winner that got it. It was just insane. It was everywhere when it was released. I wasn’t sure if they would win because rookie, but I’m so glad they did
New Female Artist: Same story as Love Dive. The rookies this year were fierce but IVE were on a whole other level for me, their wins rival 3 year old groups
Best Male Group: Idc much about this category but I think Seventeen should’ve won because Hot was massive and I don’t remember anything BTS did this year… sorry
Best Female Group: Blackpink had a good year but I think (G)I-DLE’s was better
Best Dance Performance Male: Basically the same story as Love Dive once more. I don’t actually listen to this song but I saw it blow up so I felt it was deserved
Best Dance Performance Female: Okay now bear in mind how much I’ve been hyping IVE up to this point, they’re like a top 3 group for me I think they’re amazing… but this category wasn’t a win for me… Love Dive had a good choreo but idk the performances of it just didn’t stick around. I feel like Fearless had a more iconic choreo all around, whereas Love Dive had a few key moments. Love Dive was iconic but so was Fearless and Le Sserafim are proving themselves to be performance legends…
