T-ARA is a current 4member group, consisting of Qri, Hyomin, Eunjung and Jiyeon. Soyeon and Boram left the group when their contract with MBK ENT expired. Areum left the group because she was accused of bullying by former member Hwayoung. Hwayoung accused T-ARA of bullying with her sister, resulting in her leave. The rumours were later proved untrue.

History

On July 27, 2009 and officially debuting on the 29th on the MBC talk show Radio Star. As a six-member group. With Eunjung, Hyomin, Qri, Boram, Soyeon and Jiyeon

November 2010 T-ara began promotions with their new seventh member, Hwayoung, and new leader, Boram.

On June 14, 2012, Core Contents Media introduced 18-year-old Areum as the new maknae.
On July 30, 2012 Core Contents Media abruptly announced Hwayoung's immediate departure from the group after one year and eight months.

On July 10, 2013, it was confirmed with a video released by Core Contents Media that Areum would be leaving the group to pursue a solo career.

On March 6, 2017, MBK Entertainment announced that T-ara would be releasing their final album in May, with Soyeon and Boram terminating their contracts after its release. On May 8, it was announced that T-ara's last performance as six-members will be in Taiwan concert on May 13.

As a 4 member group Released in collaboration with Dingo Music, the group made their long-awaited comeback with the single album Re:T-ara on November 15, 2021
