I'm a huge horror fan. Those based on true stories hit me the most and those with exorcisms included. I guess I'm more into the mystery than gore.

The ones that are based on true stories make me go deep diving on the internet lol

Ah, yeah, that's pretty cool actually.
I think I like a bit of both. Though not overly fond of haunted houses so most of those ghost stories are out.
Do enjoy Child's play series (especially first movie) though I suppose that's more of a possession and not technically a ghost.

Yeah movies with haunted houses are getting kinda old but it depends if there's a good backstory to them.
I've watched only the first movie of Child's Play if I remember well but it didn't scare me that much tbh XD I mean ofc it was freaky but not that terrifying or traumatizing for me.

Ah, I see. Yeah, it didn't scare me either. But I like it because it can make you laugh as well as feel worried about the characters.
Also, the actor playing the villain is also in the LotR trilogy, so that's just another fun fact for me. ^^

Ok. I have seen that, and imo you haven't missed out on much.
Ofc, nothing ever (rarely anyways) beats the original, but the trailer made the remake seem to be so much more than it was.
