Need help on how to navigate threads

Hi I’m new to posting on this site, sorry if I’m making any silly mistakes

I wanted to browse through the official thread for a specific group, but I don’t really understand how these threads work. I saw all the comments were from years ago, is there a way to sort the comments by most recent?
Also is the only way to interact on the official thread by commenting, or is there another more formatted way to do that?

Plus, if you click on like 'random thoughts thread' you can see the most recent ones that people have messaged in <33
Also, im pretty sure u can follow/watch the thread so you don't have to comment if u don't want to.
