I've never had Korean food, but I really want to try the foods that you have mentioned 
They taste good, although i havent had the proper kimchi (spicy one) it still tastes good mild.
I've had all those foods you mentioned. They are delicious
i basically eat korean food 24/7, even though our whole family isnt korean, my mom makes really good korean food and i think she's obsessed with cooking it. but we always have kimchi at home, we eat tteokbokki and ramyeon, jajangmyeon, this spicy korean pork wrap thingy, korean pancakes, etc.

kimchi is delicious but it does take a few trys to get to like it. the brand also matters, cause some brand's kimchi is spicier, while others could be more tangy and sour, etc.
