So part of the finale for Road To Kingdom involved the revealing that the winners would be going up against another set of groups in a second season called 'Kingdom'

A rumored lineup has been circulating, consisting of:
-ATEEZ
-Stray Kids
-TXT
-Seventeen
-MONSTA X
-NCT
-And possibly NU'EST

I'm not sure about some of these groups, especially NCT, with the beef that SM has with Mnet.
What do you think and what groups would you want to see on 'Kingdom'?

Is that a new reveal? I'm pretty sure we knew from the beginning that was the whole point of the show... That's why there were so many people annoyed, when RTK was announced, that there wasn't a similar show for Queendom, to give smaller girl groups a platform.

Oh, I'm not questioning the lineup; I haven't heard anything solid on that.

But I thought the initial post was suggesting that it was new information that the winner of RTK would compete in Kingdom, and we knew that when RTK was announced. Maybe I'm just misinterpreting the post, though.

I just mentioned that The Boyz would continue onto Kingdom for people who didn't follow RTK.

same on doubting nct - when has sm ever engaged with survival show style tv anyway
pitting nuest and seventeen against each other would be a gigantic waste of money for pledis; i could see nuest going on but svt don't need exposure
mx maybe - rtk+queendom seemed like a lot of groups were gambling on reviving their image via the program and mx reputation in sk is bad, but their international presence is so strong i cant imagine why theyd bother...? same goes for stray kids except for skz going on would be suuuch a huge L for them lol

honestly idk what even makes sense lineup wise. queendom's lineup was logical because so many ggs have like sizable&dedicated but stagnant fandoms, i feel like that's significantly less true for bgs, where its more like either you make 200k album sales or you make 20k
like rtk already had basically all the bgs i'd consider "stagnant"- golcha tbz ptg onf... so now what

(also for people who dont keep up with rtk: rtk is basically a prelimnary for kingdom because apparently many bgs wanted to join kingdom. since tbz won the prelimnary show, they will also participate in kingdom)

I don’t think nct, txt, seventeen & monsta x is gonna be in it.. I personally think their to big for that.. (not to say that the others aren’t as good but they just have a massive fan base)

I don't think any groups that debuted in 2020 or in 2021 will be on it, that would be more like RTK. Like what TOO did.
I don't think any groups from the Big 4 will join either.
I would like iKON to appear so they can have a comeback of sorts, but I doubt it.
I thought maybe Monsta X, but they are popular and most of them have to enlist soon anyways

They haven't confirmed any other groups, but they will probably add more. They're probably just releasing everything gradually to add suspense for the show. That way more people will pay attention and watch it.
