Position: Lead vocalist, main dancer, sub rapper.
Facts: She/her, was born in the U.S. and lived 8 years there. Like Eonjin, she loves anime. Her favourite disney movie is Mulan. Shina also composes part of The Hapinness's songs.
Jae
Real name: Ahn Jaehwa
Birth: August 2nd, 2003 (19 years)
N and E: S. Korean. Her paternal grandmother is chinese.
Position: "Mom of the group", vocalist.
Facts: She/her, loves japanese cuisine and has been dancing for 8 years. She's proud of being 1/4 chinese. She struggled with depression after being in an abusive relationship and her 16 year old dog's passing. Jae is recovered now and feels stronger than ever.
Emi
Real name: Takemoto Emi
Birth: November 7th, 2004 (18 years)
N and E: Japanese
Position: Main dancer, vocalist, center.
Facts: She/her, They/them. Emi is a semi-female presenting nonbinary person. She has a mild testosterone treatment. She was going to be lead vocalist but Shina entered the team. Their favourite season is autumn. She's ok with people calling The Happiness a girl group, since her gender is demi-girl.
Hyejin
Real name: Lee Hyejin
Birth: June 14th, 2004 (18 years)
N and E: S. Korean
Position: Main rapper, sub vocalist.
Facts: Her biggest flex is having the same given name as Hwasa. CB4 ent said that don't judge her vocals because of her sub-vocalist position, she has a D+ vocal ranking. Even so, she only had 20.8 seconds of vocal lines in the debut album.
Julei
Real name: Zuleika Jimena Galit Balingit
Birth: January 4th, 2004 (her last hours as a 18 year old as I write this)
N and E: Filipina
Position: Lead dancer, vocalist.
Facts: She moved to Korea to start her training at 14. She made a statement in an interview where she clarified that even if CB4 doesn't have dating bans, she prefers to keep her future relationships private. Her favourite groups are SNSD and SEVENTEEN.
Yewon
Real name: Chang Jinjiao
Korean name: Jang Yewon
Birth: May 3rd, 2005 (17 years)
N and E: Half korean, half singaporean (han chinese)
Position: Sub rapper, vocalist, maknae.
Facts: She was chosen by the public as part of The Happiness's dance line. Yewon was born in singapore but 1 year later her and her family moved to South Korea. Her mom is taking care of her cat. She entered urban and jazz dance classes when she was 6.
~Concept~
After a lot of time of deppression and sadness, 7 girls rebuild their lives in a stronger version of themselves, ready to confront the challenges of life with the help of music and dance. Although not all members in reality have suffered from depression, they all have struggles and an approach to spread awareness about mental health in Asia.
