I think they should reveal the truth because people will keep coming up with scenarios that lead to a scandal if they don't. People are always looking for the truth, and they find it. When I served in the army, my commander periodically beat me.
I honestly just hope this never happens again. I don't understand why people have to do these kinds of things. It only creates trouble. They should learn from their mistakes.
