is kkb jpop?

ok so i have been listening to kero kero bonito(kkb) for a long time and i love their music. if you dont know kkb, they are a japanese-english/british group composed of sarah midori perry, wharfwhit(jamie bulled), and augustus. sarah is lead singer, jamie does a bunch like guitar, keyboard, bass, etc., and augustus is main songwriter. they make indie pop, hyper pop, alt music. but still idrk if they count as jpop or not... anyone got answers?

but also theres like a lot of songs that are in japanese probably like half of the tracks (ex: flamingo, sick beat, cat vs dog japanese vers, ), but a lot of their older songs use japanese, but some is still used in their more recent tracks
