Initial’L have decided to disband on May 29th, 2022 after being inactive for nearly two years, after the departure of their bassist, Hiyuu in April 2020.
Here’s the official statement from the band:
“Thank you for always supporting INITIAL’L.
As a result of discussions among the members, we decided to disband after our one-man performance on May 29th, 2022 at Shibuya STAR LOUNGE.
Additionally, the performance to be held for Hiyuu’s withdrawal that we had to postpone will be canceled due to difficulties coordinating our schedule with him.
We’ll show you our best for our remaining concert, so let’s complete INITIAL’L at the venue.”
