it would let me add the year in my birthday, so my age will appear

Go to your account settings and it should have the little boxes where you can mark to show just your birth month and day or birth year

i did & they are both checked. but everytime i type the year and hit saves, it either says an error message or doesnt save

When you joined, did you enter your birthdate?
