it can be, yeah! in my case, tho, it was like a promise between me and god (ick...) it's pretty popular in purity culture, and was really big in the early 2000s. basically, "god, ily sm that i promise not to have sex til i'm married." i like promise rings between lovers, just not between god and literal children lol. i think some ppl call what i had a purity ring, but at my church, we called it a promise ring

I wear my class ring on my right ring finger. I wear it so often, I get the phantom feeling that it's still there when it's not. I unconsciously fiddle with it with my thumb, and it's really weird when I'm not wearing it, because I automatically go to fiddle with it. But yeah. Class of 2022 ring is my specialty.

I used to wear a gold snake ring, especially when I went to work, but one of the eyes fell out, so I stopped wearing it. I got a silver one like it, but the day after I got it, it broke in half, and I was very sad.
