I was listening to Michael jackson's songs in 2013 and then youtube recommended me sorry sorry from Super Junior and that's how. But I really understood that you can stan a group and all in 2015
I was looking for things to watch and saw kpop. I thought it was a title of a show or something, but I found out it was a genre after looking it up. I searched a YouTube and watched BTS’ Blood Sweat and Tears. I fell down a hole after that
When I was in elementary school, my mom loved to watch K-drama, that's why I get to know about Korean. And then, when I was in Junior high school, Boys before flowers was airing in SK and get viral in several countries such as mine, there are a lot of Korean's magazines. That's when I really get into k-pop.
I was watching an asmr video and someone in the comments said the girl in the video looked like Lisa from Blackpink so I looked them up and watched Boombaya and then YouTube recommended BTS’ Mic Drop afterwards
When I was in elementary school I watched kdrama and I really love it but I forget it and 3 years ago my best friend showed chanyeol's film then I start to be a kpoper so thanks cause really kpop has changed my life a lot
Through one of my friends! We were sitting in class one day (this was about four years ago) and we’re listening to music together (I believe it was BTS’ “Idol”? I don’t quite remember) when he asked me who my bias was. I answered him honestly and told him I didn’t know them very well. He looked so betrayed and so I became determined to know everything about them so I could answer his question. Fast forward to today and here we are now. Sorry for the long story! Just thought it was pretty funny to share since it started off from just getting to know them to Kpop pretty much taking over my music tastes!
About five years ago. I knew about kpop before but I got into it when I saw a reaction channel on youtube reacting to kpop, BTS' Not Today music video showed up and I got addicted.

My mom was listening to DDu Du Du Du by blackpink and I was like "what are you listening to" then she showed me Exo, ikon then yeah that's how I got into kpop
My mom...she introduced me to drama's specifically 'Save Me' with Ok Taecyeon, Woo Do Hwan and Seo Yeaji. I saw Taec, I saw Do Hwan and fell in love (as a freakin 13 year old). I did some digging after the show ended and saw Taecyeon was in a group called 2pm. I heard 'My House' at like 1 am and almost cried it was so good! From then on I was hooked on their album 'Grown'. Soon I fell into the Blink sink hole and for a few months all I listened to was 2pm and Blackpink UNTIL one of my fav Youtubers (at the time) reacted to BS&T by BTS. At first I didn't really like the song and like every basic b*tch I thought they all looked the same...everyone except Namjoon lmao. But Jin and Jimin were my muses for a LONG time. Afterward I watched 'Dynamite' and literally couldn't stop lol. Those billions of views were from ME.
And then there was TXT and then Stray Kids and then Enhypen (you get it lol) which was my first Kpop debut at that time.
(BTW my first album was BE by BTS which I shared with my sister lol)
an ex-friend of mine in middle school used to make me watch vocaloid videos every day until one day, she showed me the video to boombayah by blackpink. i secretly liked it but wouldn't admit it lol. then she showed me bts and i found kard on my own and then boom. i got into a lot of others grps (and stopped being a twice anti lol) and now here i am
I got into kdramas first. I watched one called My ID is Gangnam Beauty. Cha Eunwoo of Astro is the male lead. I looked him up and saw he was in Astro. Then I looked into Astro and stanned as soon as I saw their dancing abilities and heard their songs. My stanning has evolved since then. That was in April of 2019
