How did you did you come to ultimately bias your ult bias?

So as you guys have probably guessed... Hyungwon is my ult bias : ]
He has been for almost 4 years now!!
So when I first got into kpop my ults were Taehyung and Xiumin, mostly Taehyung though, then I got into GOT7 and I fell in love with bambam! So then bambam was my ult for a long time (now im ot7 for them) Then there was one day where I wanted to watch some funny kpop videos so I looked one up on youtube and watched it. It had groups like bts, got7, monsta x, kard, and probably a million other groups.
And I saw Hyungwon... man he is beautiful! He was in most of the mx clips that were in the video so I got to see him a lot. I thought he was funny (and cUtE) so I looked up the group and listened to K.O. ... idk why the first song I chose to listen to was a colored lyrics one but it just was
I was able to spot him right away!! I guess this was just dEsTinY

long story, so i started stanning svt when home was released. minghao caught my eye IMMEDIATELY. I was like "idk who he is but he is so cute. his has soft features and a soft voice. he's kinda got a baby face" had no idea who he was but i found him after searching svt up and stanning them. he has been my ult since then

for p1harmony, it was so weird and random. it was December, after Scared was released and they were about to comeback in January with Do It Like This (i didn't know this yet). I just remember seeing p1h around and i was like "well, let me give them a listen" i wanted to stan another bg because at the time i only stanned like 3 bgs (now 4!) I listened to them on spotify. the first song i listened to was Scared and at first I was like "this is so typical loud bg" then BOOM Intak started rapping and I was like "WOAH" the sound and aesthetic reminded me so much of the old school hiphop that i grew up on. The flow, the confidence, the styling, the overall vibe. I was HOOKED. Then i listened to Siren and i LOVED IT. I listen to If You Call Me and that was it, I was officially about to start stanning. And i did, i listened to their discography, loved it. Watched all their dance practices because they dancing is SO addicting to watch, and for the first time in my kpop stan career i watched HOURS of variety content. I couldn't even sit down and do that with svt, txt, or tbz my other fave bgs. It's not that they aren't funny, i just dont have time or don't care enough sometimes. But I watched ALL of Saessak Harmony all seasons, watched Harmonism, watched their interviews, watch ALL of Harmony Forest when it came out, watched their PLOGS, watched their W+W content including their movie, watched their covers, their predebut performance videos, their Plus Clip videos, their Harmony Clips videos, their Live stages, fancams, ANYTHING i could watch that was p1harmony related, i watched it. I have never stanned a group this hard, bg or gg.

My ult bias from all ult biases is Hyunjin from skz
I've always admired dancing and I've liked it since I was a little kid, but I always grew up watching female good dancers, and I didn't see a lot of male ones that really caught my eye. So when I heard some of their songs, I really vibed with it so I searched them up and decided to learn the names and leave it at that. I was also kinda interested because felix was in the group and he has one of the deepest voices in kpop so I was very curious on what stray kids was about. I never really bothered to check them out before because I thought the name was cringe . Anyway, the first thing I watched was the "maniac" relay, at first Felix kinda caught my eye because of the skirt and I thought he just looked so cute, until mr.hwang hyunjin came along, I was in awe. The way he controlled his body to make this perfect dancing made me bias him immediately. Also, may I add, his visuals are almost exactly my type so it was also that that made me more likely to bias him. His vocals weren't the thing that caught my eye at all, but his voice. It has this unique sound to it that I haven't heard from another boy group. It's kinda like the little tone that Momo has on her voice, hyunjin has that as well!

My Ultimate bias is Bae Jinyoung from CIX, formerly in Wanna One. Please bare with me that this might be a pretty long one as you can tell by the amount of paragraphs that I’ve typed below here, and how my journey with biasing him has started off with I guess I should say lol Yeah, sorry for the essay

I used to bias Jinyoung since when he was in Wanna One only because I found him very cute and the most attractive member which caught my attention. However, I only liked him for a short period of time. After getting into Wanna One for a week I felt bad for biasing him because he used to give me such weird, fake, awkward and cringeworthy vibes to the point that it pissed me off and have completely stopped liking him. While I was in the process of stanning them because of how much he had caught my attention, I decided to watch a couple of the videos involving Wanna One back in 2017. And as I noticed it in most or even every single video of them that I’ve seen, Jinyoung always had an expressionless face, gave no reactions, did not really laugh as much as the others did, was extremely awkward and he tried way too hard to be cute and sexy. Like when he tried so hard to be sexy back in that one episode of weekly idol, I find it to be absolutely cringe and I think that what he was doing was too much. Before I got into him though, I actually thought that he was the complete opposite to what he was actually like as a Wanna One member; like always being confident on what he’s doing and always laugh whenever his members or other people have done something that was funny etc. but I was wrong. Plus I wasn’t even a wannable while they were active before they disbanded lol.

Fast forward to this year back in April was when I found out that he was going to release his single, Hard To Say Goodbye. I saw the teasers and fell in love with them especially the background music since I usually love listening to songs that have a ballad genre in it, and that was when my love and support for him began to return. His song is now currently one of my top favourites, and I’d always listen to it whenever I feel like I can.
As I was watching their Movie Star MV for the first time back in July this year, Jinyoung immediately stood out to me by the amount of charisma that he has as well as his visuals. I was so surprised as to how much improvement he has been gaining overtime with so much confidence, and his powerful facial expressions he has shown now as a member of CIX, also back in Wanna One 2018 (again as I said I wasn’t into Wanna One at that time but I’ve seen some videos of him doing sexy dances when he promoted with them last year), compared to what he was like back in Produce 101 and Wanna One in 2017. Such things including his powerful and sexy charisma on stage when performing, like DAMNNNN SIS those facial expressions and his sexy moves is what makes us all BaeJin and CIX OT5 stans wanna scream as loud as we can!
Like seriously, that boy definitely suits the definition of sexy concepts with a powerful charisma. He is also born to be the center after all, and I don’t make the rules!! and that‘s when I fell in love with him even more.

Now that I’m really looking forward to the amount of content regarding CIX on social media, and I also couldn’t stop watching their performances because of how much I really appreciate Bae Jinyoung and the more sexy dances that I want from him (lmao Sorry BaeJin I couldn’t help it)!! His friendship bond with his other members is absolutely no joke, and he seems as such a caring and a really kind person towards others as well as how much he adores and appreciates his fans.

wow…I actually do not remember writing a whole essay about how baejin became my ult bias.
When I wrote this, I was insanely whipped for baejin back then, had him as my pfp & signature. And I’m also pretty sure that I kept talking/bragging about him on some threads, as well as to the ppl that I was (mostly) friends with on here via dms like at least once a week — all within the span of 3-4 months!
(it was after I shifted my “hardcore stanning” phase from Hyeongjun and dongpyo while they were in X1 to Jinyoung from CIX so fast)

it feels really nice going back reading my old comments from a few years ago so that I can see how much I’ve changed over the years in terms of my tastes for biasing people and other stuff overall.
