Indeed, removing such a tooth is always a painful procedure, but it is necessary because wisdom teeth are almost impossible to treat.

Update: I got mine out! One of them was severely impacted, like all the way near the bottom of my jaw. It got like that cause there was a mass there but I found out it's benign so no cancer (happy wooo) So I can't eat really crunchy/hard foods for another 4-5 weeks (sad woooo)

I removed one of my wisdom teeth a couple of years ago. It was so painful, so I still remember it.

I have yeah it was a great experience. I went to see Dr. Beeson at Today's Dental Grande Prairie. Definetly my favorite in dentist grande prairie
