Former JO1 Shion to debut as solo artist as 'BONBON' releases MV!.

For those who may not know or are getting into JO1 recently, JO1 is an 11 member Japanese boy group formed by the top contestants of the show [Produce 101 Japan], and is most known for a variety of tracks; Be Classic, SuperCali, Happy Unbirthday, Venus, Eyes on ME, Born to be Wild, Test Drive, Tiger, Trigger, Shine a Light and More. They debuted with their first single 'PROTOSTAR' on March 4th 2020.

Tsurubo Shion left the group back in December 2025. He left due to the expiry of his contract.

He recently announced he will be debuting as a solo artist underneath his nickname 'BONBON'.

Espically considering JO1's popularity, I heard how popular they are in Japan, I don't know the members to to well like I do some groups, so when I saw 'former JO1' I kinda got confused.
