At the moment I don't play anything, but I used to play the keyboard and I'm thinking of picking it up again since my dad just gave me his keyboard :)

My 6-year-old is learning the guitar. He started a few days ago and has been plugging away. He's been playing for about 2 months and really enjoyed it. But it's been a difficult 2 months for him, and we have been working hard to help him deal with some of the struggles he's been having. You must have the right insurance when playing instruments; it can save you a lot of money in the long run. For example, we insured our son at Victor Knight. It is wise to carry your own insurance, rather than being covered by your instrument insurance, as this may not cover the damage incurred by a musician, especially if performing in a high-risk scenario.

I just started learning how to play piano 2 months ago. I still don't have a piano at home 'cuz it's just CRAZY expensive.

Back in elementary school, I used to mainly play trumpet (which I hated) with a bit of clarinet and ukulele (which I wish I played more) on the side. Now I kinda play piano (I mean, I'm not really any good, so I don't think it counts) and kalimba, though I'm hoping to save up enough money to buy my own ukulelel
