so we all know txt are very tall compared to the average bgs, with taehyun (?) being the shortest at 5'10 (?)
i honestly have no idea, like maybe bighit is feeding them something that made them grow super tall, like yk how hueningkai literally shot up since debut, hes almost as tall as soobin

I think that might be a reason . It's like KNK. Most kpop fans no them for being tal. But in that case it's a blessing and a curse.

I think when they make groups, companies like to have people that are sort of the same height because it just looks better in dances and group photos. So bighit probably gravitated towards taller idols so they all would be similarly portioned, they all fall between the 175-185 cm range
like how skz is all in the 165-175cm range
but then you have groups like Ateez with Yunho being 184cm and Hongjoong 172cm
so I actually don't really have an answer
