2. The Wonders of Baking Soda
Baking Soda has several purposes besides cooking!

If you put it in your refrigerator it helps eliminate bad smells. However, you need to replace it once the smell starts acting up again.
An even more useful aspect of Baking Soda is how it can extinguish grease fires.
Grease fires happen when you are cooking with oil and it gets so hot that it starts to boil. Then you'll see some smoke and then fire.
DO NOT PUT IT OUT WITH WATER!!
Oil and water do not mix, so the water does nothing and causes the oil to splash around when you pour the water, making the fire spread.
So what you do is pour Baking Soda on the fire. This will smother it, depriving it of the oxygen it needs to burn.
This is an even better reason to keep it in your fridge, easy access.
There are other uses of Baking Soda, but I find these to be the most important.

4. Things You Should Always Keep in Your Wallet
First of all, any time you go anywhere you should have your wallet with you.
Here are somethings you should always keep in it!
-Cash
Well duh, you need money. But instead of just carrying debit/credit cards, you should carry some cash to. Some places don't accept cards, so it's important to have cash. Also change. This can be good for vending machines.
-Credit/Debit Cards
If you have one, you should keep it. You never know if you need to buy something out of emergency.
-Drivers' License/ID
Carrying an ID is really important if you need to go somewhere your identity needs to be verified. You should also also have your drivers' license when you are driving especially. You never know when you could get pulled over or if you get into an accident. Another good reason to have an ID with you is if you randomly pass out and you are by yourself. How are people gonna know who you are and how to help you?
-Insurance Card
It's important to have this if there is ever a medical emergency.
-A List of Emergency Contact Numbers
This is similar to the ID thing. If you are every incapacitated, people can call these numbers and contact your loved ones for help.

Some things you shouldn't carry:
-Social Security card
If you get pick pocketed then someone can easily steal your identity.
-Any list of passwords or important numbers
Again with pick pocketing, you could get hacked.

This one isn't really an adulting thing, but I feel like it's something everyone should know. It has caused me frustration in the past, but I now know the trick!
Also, a bunch of people probably already know to do this, but I still feel like sharing.

9. How to Properly Open a Fruit Cup
You know these things:

Well I love to eat them for snacks and such. However, every time I tried to open one the juice would spill everywhere. I remember in elementary in school we made a game out of it. Whoever could open there's without it exploding would win.
Well now I have discovered the secret!!

1. Put it on a hard and even surface.
You're kinda just setting yourself up if you put it on an uneven surface.
2. Grab either side of the lid with your non-dominant hand.
It doesn't really matter how many fingers you use, but you need to grip the lid only.
3. With your dominant hand peel the plastic top off.
When the top reaches where your fingers are holding the lid; I would transition your fingers to the part of the lid that has already been opened.
And Voila! You have an opened fruit cup that has all of the juice still in it!

I just open it slightly then drink the juice, so I can take the plastic off without spilling
