Stans spend all their time trying to build up one single group and tear down every other. In many fandoms, it's considered shameful to be a multi-stan, because you have less time to spend on your ult or whatever, or aren't "loyal". The fandom seems so divided, it's silly. If I was an idol, if someone listed me as someone who helped to pave the way, alongside others, I'd feel SO PROUD, because to know I've been recognised for anything I've done would be an honour. In reality, every artist paves the way for future artists, and opens new doors. The industry is interlocked. Instead of everything being a competition about who can do it best, we should celebrate everyone's contributions in the different areas of the industry

(Ik this is more a rant, just my 2 cents)
omg, yes! i agree w everything you said 100%. every artist pours their time, energy, and heart into their work, and for that, they deserve applause and recognition.

Anh from BeautyBox is not the first Vietnamese k-pop idol.
If you want to get specific here, they debuted on September 23, 2021. Lalary, a co-ed group (Eddie Valencia, my dudes. Iconic man right there) debuted two years earlier on August 29, 2019, with Vietnamese member Hope. And then, continuing more than that, both Z-girls and Z-boys, with respective debut dates of February 23, 2019, and February 22, 2019, have Vietnamese members Queen and Roy. And then, going all the way back to 2014, A-Daily debuted on December 3, 2014, with member Jade, who left the group in 2015. So no, Anh is not the first one.

The style of Z-Boys and Z-Girls are K-pop style but they are not K-pop groups as they do not sing in Korean and only sing in English.

The first Vietnamese K-pop Idol is Hari Won whose father is Vietnamese and mother is Korean.

Vietnamese singers who worked or work oversea or for a non-Vietnamese company :

I took the term Vietnamese as full Vietnamese. :) But you're right!

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE!
Little did some of these kids know that their "faves" actually have faves too that got them to become what they are today.
Imagine tearing down legends that your faves love & hype yet you dare to tear down just because you don't care.. OOF!

I feel like another example of mistreatment that no one really talks about is being forced to work by a company even though you are sick.
I've seen this plenty of times whether it's mentally sick or physically sick. (This is pretty irrelevant but for example, I am very sick right now, my entire body hurts, it hurts to swallow and I have really bad coughs, sneezes, and headaches.) and I don't remember the exact idol but on their Instagram around 2019, an idol posted about how they were forced to work while they were extremely sick(they described how I am feeling atm). There were many fans who got mad at the company, but some fans who didn't care went to that idols fancam on youtube and got mad at the idol for not "trying" even though that idol was trying really hard to be professional on stage. If the idol clearly explains that their body hurts, you shouldn't make fun of them or get mad if you can see their obviously not feeling their best. Now I don't care how controversial the idol was at the time, I feel it's still rude and immature of some fans. And I feel that I have to give some respect to this idol. (As I said, I don't remember the idol very well, so sorry for very few details on who the idol is, but all I can remember is that they were very controversial around 2019 and their situation.

another example of this would be 9muses. at the time of debut, some of the members were underaged and were so upset over their outfits that they started having panic attacks and becoming physically ill. but when they and the older members told the company, they were still forced to wear the outfits for the mv and for performances.

bro that's sad. idols shouldn't have to feel discomfort, ESPECIALLY from their own company-

Miniskirt was not AOA’s first sexy concept song

Many people use Miniskirt as evidence that AOA blew up because of their sexy concept, however Miniskirt was not the first time they did the sexy concept. While it was their first song that got BIG, their first sexy concept song was ‘Confused’
Confused release date: 10th October 2013
Miniskirt release date: 16th January 2014
