My stepdad likes it up on Thanksgiving day after dinner. I don't like a tree at all. We have a 7 ft tree, and it's an itchy pain to out it up and take it down. plus, i have 2 cats, so i'm on constant edge in the fear they'll break ornaments.

It’s a family heirloom from his great-grandparents. Over the years, they bought extensions. It started out as a regular 4 ft tree.

Ig so? It's pretty with the lights on. Its not decorated yet, but it has a lot of old, handmade ornaments for when it is, and they're very pretty. I might post a picture of some when we get them out?

I don't celebrate Thanksgiving. I usually put it up one or two weeks before Christmas except from this year when I put it up earlier the second week of November.
