The group was formed through the reality survival show NEXT GIRLZ which first aired on July 29, consiting of Chang Cheng-yun, Chen Pin-hsin, Chen Yan-ling, Hsu Hsu, Lin Chiu-hsien, Lyu Hsi-yan, Tsao Ching-ching, Vikky, and former Cherry Bullet member Lin Lin.

NEXT GIRLZ was a Taiwanese survival reality show created by TPOP Entertainment and Wildfire Entertainment. It started premiering on July 30, 2023 and aired every Sunday at 5:00PM TST on YouTube.
