For me I have no idea why but I'm scared of balloons every time I'm close to balloons, I feel anxious and I always have the feeling that they will explode
Idk if it really counts as a phobia but I’m terrified of dogs
When dogs are around me I instantly become very uncomfortable. I curl up in a ball (so that they can’t touch me) and just watch them. If they lick me or go near me or brush against me I instantly just panic and ive even cried a few times
I can appreciate some dogs in pics (eg Byul’s corgis are derps and adorable) but being in person with them just no
I have emetophobia, the fear of myself or somebody throwing up. Whenever someone says they aren't feeling well, or if I have to go to a place I had seen someone throw up I have a panic attack.
I also have a really intense fear of these things called onryo. They are basically the ghost girls from The Ring and The Grudge, or any pale, dark haired girl wearing a long white dress. I haven't even seen the full movies, they just scare the crap out of me.
i dont know what the real phobias are called or even if they are real phobias, but im scared of elevators, ive walked up nd down so many stairs just so i dont go on an elevator.
im also scared of balloons because i hate it when they pop idk why
i also hate loud noises for example that caused me to be afraid of fireworks (ironic cuz my parents work at a firework store :/)
When I was a kid, I was afraid of EV. ERY. THING. This included:
-the washer/dryer when running*
-spinning ceiling fans (I still jump a little when I see one moving)
-the dark* (I had to sleep with all the lights on every night)
-thunderstorms (they still freak me out of they're really severe)
-dogs (medium-sized dogs and well-behaved large dogs are okay now, but small? FUHGEDDIT!)
-needles (I still cringe when I see one in close proximity, like if I was getting a Novocain shot)
-falling asleep* (I used to have night terrors so bad that I had to be medicated for it)
Small holes and clusters,
centipedes and any other long insect/insect in general,
quinoa and couscous,
lotus pods,
the words "dry ingredients",
cuckoo clocks,
clocks that have chimes that signal the current time,
standing barefoot on paper and/or cardboard,
trains,
basketballs,
volleyballs,
chains,
kale,
prunes,
and unintentionally scary dolls ;-;
im insanely scared of eyes. if while watching a yt video the person zooms in on his eyes, i have to skip, because i just feel panicked and disgusted. its even worse if the eye is red or moves left to right or really in any pattern. i just cant stand it.
I have a fear of escalators. I simply internally freak out whenever I have to use one, however thankfully that doesn't happen often because we don't have escalators in my town. It's part of my fear of heights.
Oh and when I was a kid I was deathly afraid of handheld cordless vacuum cleaners lol.
weird but - i fear that a bug will crawl into my ear and that's why I sleep with ear warmers on. I'm also REALLY REALLY scared of aeroplanes. I think it's because I used to watch a lot of Air Crash Investigation, and I really DO NOT wanna crash. so - idek if that's a phobia or not. I'm also scared of the dark, i feel like something's going to come at me, u know? That's why I literally SPRINT to the toilet on a night....
