Daiyu: Should we introduce ourselves?
Miya: Yeah, I think so…
Miya: Sorry jelly this our first time doing VLIVE because we mostly do instagram lives so bear with us
Daiyu: Let’s introduce ourselves! I’m Daiyu, the quiet yet sweet rapper!
Miya: I’m Miya! You're a shining vocalist!
Miya: Okay so I think today we will be answering questions from you guys, jelly!
Daiyu: Yay!

Question 01: Who was your inspiration to become an idol?
Daiyu: I actually really look up to IU. Despite going through so many challenges to be an idol she still followed her dream.
Miya: I look up to IU too! I think a lot of people do and I can see why. But another person I look up to is probably Hwasa from MAMAMOO. She’s really confident and one day I hope to be as confident as her.
Daiyu: Mama mama mooooo

Question 02 - Out of all the concepts so far, what is your favorite?
Miya: I LOVED THE CONCEPT WE DID FOR DEBUT!
Daiyu: Girl, You loved the concept so much you ate actual orange marmalade for a week. Then you got sick.
*Daiyu slapping her head
Miya: I may have gotten too excited…
Daiyu: Yeah you did lol. I feel like you're gonna eat dark chocolates for this comeback for the dark concept.
*Daiyu and Miya laughing
Miya: You know I hate dark chocolate! You know I still remember that prank you pulled on me in high school with dark chocolate. Also are you gonna keep making fun of me or answer the question!
Daiyu: Okayyy fine. I really like the new concept we’re doing. It's kinda a mix of vintage, modern, and mature. While I also like the cute concept I think I really shine with a mature concept.
Miya: You’re like the queen of dark mature concepts
Daiyu: Awww thanks

Question 03 - How does it feel to do a darker concept as opposed to a cute/lighter one?
Miya: Well, to be honest I'm really scared I might not do well with the dark concept even though I chose it lol. You see, Daiyu can pull off dark concepts really well. I know this for a fact because even during our trainee days she would do a lot of dark and girl crush songs and she would literally slay it. However I did a lot of cute songs and the closest thing to a dark concept that I did was like an elegant concept.
Daiyu: I can see where you're coming from but our comeback however isn’t even that girl crush thing it’s just classy and kinda vintage. Plus the title really suits your voice.
Miya: True, I hope I can pull it off.

Question 04 - Is it ever lonely to be just a duo instead of having more members?
Daiyu: Nah, I like it this way the lesser the people the better
Miya: That’s because you barely interact with anybody else but your family and me and Jei.
Daiyu: Yeah, the less people there are, the better. I like it the way it is.
Miya: You really never change do you?
Daiyu: Nope!

Miya: Anyways I like being with a lot of people it’s more fun! But honestly speaking I like being a duo. Most of the time we understand each other and we are comfortable with each other. We do fight but we always make up with each other.
Daiyu: Yeah, we always make up with each other by asking the other if we wanna go get some ice cream. That way it won’t be awkward. But if it is really serious we do talk things out.
Miya: I don’t like it when it’s awkward.
Daiyu: Same, that’s why I don’t interact with many people.

Question 04 - Will there be solo promotions/comebacks?
Miya: Yes, there will be solo promotions! For me I will be promoting my upcoming solo song Black Pearl and Daiyu will be performing Kazino!
Daiyu: I’m really excited for this album and I hope Jelly is too!

Question 05 - Who do you think the concept suits better?
Miya: Definitely Daiyu.
Daiyu: I’m blushing. Thanks!
Miya: Like I said during Daiyu’s training days she was known for being a dark concept queen.
Daiyu: I think that a lot of my friends were really surprised we debuted with a cute concept instead of a dark one.
Miya: What if Orange Marmalade was a dark concept?
Daiyu: You would have been stuffing yourself with chocolate pudding instead of marmalade!

Question 06 - What goes on behind the scenes?
Daiyu: Well, behind the scenes we bicker a lot.
Miya: Daiyu teases me ALOT she may seem quiet but she has a lot to say.
Daiyu: It’s really fun messing with you lol.
Miya: It’s annoying.

Question 07 - Which artists are your favorite?
Miya: LOONA!I literally LOVE Loona, their favorite k-pop group in the entire world.
Daiyu: Yeahh, she’s a little obsessed. Once she went to a loona concert and cried. She CRIED at a Loona concert.
Miya: You wouldn’t understand how great it feels to see someone you’ve been looking up to since you were a teenager.
Daiyu: Okayyy I get it but you don't have to be SUPER dramatic about it. Anyways I love
Rolling Quartz and Dreamcatcher. I really like their rock sound and congrats on dreamcatcher’s first win!
Miya: Dreamcatcher got their first win?! Omg congrats to them!
Daiyu: Yupp and not to brag I’ve been a fan since their debut.
Miya: Not to brag, I've been from Loona since PRE-debut.
Daiyu: Well that’s because they had a bunch of predebut projects!
Miya: Well, dreamcatcher had MINX!

Question 08 - What concepts would you like to try next?
Daiyu: I kinda wanna do a video game concept.
Miya: Yeahh I think that would be a great idea. I think horror video game concepts would be good!
Daiyu: Yeah I love those concepts! It can be something like a girl gets stuck inside a horror game and she needs escape or something!
Miya: Yeah that would be really good!
Daiyu: LET'S WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN!
Miya: YES!

Question 09 - What’s your favorite b-side in the album?
Miya: I really liked Sour Grapes, it has this nostalgic vibe to it which I really like.
Daiyu: My favorite b-side is probably No Silhouette! It’s really good!
Miya: I really like all the b-sides of this album. I think we and the producers did a good job writing and composing them.
Daiyu: Yeah, this is probably by far one of my favorite Jelo albums of all time.
Miya: Yup and it’s time for individual questions!

Question 10 - How do you 2 deal with the haters?
Miya: I admit sometimes I get sad but then I forget about it basically.
Daiyu: Same here. Plus I know the people writing hate comments are probably just really pathetic people.

Question 11 - How do you 2 sing so great?
Daiyu: I don’t know, we're just THAT awesome and iconic.
Miya: What she said.

QUESTIONS FOR DAIYU

Question 01 - If you could listen only to 1 song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Daiyu: I would probably listen to Save Me, Save You by WJSN. This is because I really like the song’s ethereal vibe. It makes me feel like I'm in a different world. Where I'm happy and free and plus I'm already listening to that song on repeat!

Question 02 - Do you have any favorite books?
Daiyu: I really like Rule by Ellen Goodlet and The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. Not only that, I really like reading some graphic novels and one of my favorite graphic novels of all time is Lore Olympus!
Miya: You forgot to mention all those wattpad you used to read when we were trainees!
Daiyu: Hey, everybody goes through that wattpad phase, not just me!

Question 03 - What did you love most about the comeback?
Daiyu: I LOVED how we got more creative freedom to choose the concept! Usually we were only able to make the music. We were really able to choose the concept our management team did that. But this time the company allowed us to choose the concept, the type of stage outfits we were gonna wear and it just felt great being able to do that.
Miya: Same, I really liked how we got more creative control and I hope it continues throughout our career.

Question 04 - Which era are you the most fond of in your career?
Daiyu: I would say the Rainy Weather era. I know you may be surprised thinking “Oh, I thought it would be the Villain Era”. But no it’s the Rainy Weather era because I felt I could display my emotions through each of our performances. I just felt the chill and calm emotions of Rainy Weather so clearly during that time.

Question 05 - What hair color did you like the most?
Daiyu: Red! I literally loved my red hair during our Orange Marmalade era.
Miya: You looked aerial during that era!
Daiyu: I did?
Miya: Yup

Question 06 - Where do you get inspiration for your songs?
Daiyu: Me and Miya usually get inspiration from our emotions like for example Rainy Weather was released during the spring a time where most people feel calm so we displayed calm emotions in our album. Like that Am I the Villain displays emotions of anger and sadness of a misunderstood person.

Question 07 - Why do you fear dogs?
Miya: Oh, I know what happened.
Daiyu: Well, you see when I was a small child like about 8-9 years old I went to my cousins house. There was a stray dog that would always come to their house often for food. One day my cousins were playing with the dog and I started playing too. Then stupid me decided to pet the dog and then the dog bit my hand. I still have the scar here. But ever since then I've been very much afraid of dogs.

Question 08 - What song did you have the most fun filming?
Daiyu: Hmm? Probably, No Silhouette. Because the whole recording was so chaotic like I was trying a deep voice just saying “I Lost” and Miya was trying hard not to laugh and because of that it was hard for me to not laugh! So we had a hard time doing No Silhouette because of MIYA!
Miya: That’s not my fault!
Daiyu: Umm yes and it's now your turn for questions!

QUESTIONS FOR MIYA

Question 01 - What is the hardest thing in k-pop idol’s life in your opinion?
Miya: To me, the hardest thing about our life is just when you can never satisfy the public. If you act cute or bubbly you're called a “pick me”. If you try to act mature and sexy you're called a “****”. If you’re not feeling well during the day and your not in a good mood you’re called a “b*tch”. So to me the hardest thing is to never be able to satisfy the public. So I guess I try to satisfy myself instead.
Daiyu: Yeah, that’s why I don’t really care what others say. Sometimes it hurts then I just forget about it.

Question 02 - How are you close even though Daiyu is an introvert and you are an extrovert?
Daiyu: We used to hate each other lol.
Miya: Soo me and Daiyu went to the same high school when we were trainees which was Hanlim and let me tell you we used to HATE HATE each other because I would always find Daiyu rude for some reason.
Daiyu: And I would find Miya annoying.
Miya: But I guess we bonded when we both got paired for a Science project. I got to know about her and not gonna lie I actually got a crush on her after the Science project.
Daiyu: Yeah, I started hanging out with you and started liking you more after that Science project.

Question 03 - When and how did you both meet?
Miya: Well to be exact we met during our Junior year of high school. I remember Daiyu was sitting in the seat next to me. I wanted to pass a note to my friend during class and I tapped on Daiyu (who was sleeping during class).
Daiyu: Well you were passing notes during class!
Miya: I know I'm just saying…
Anyways, Daiyu woke up and you know what she did she was like “Why are you passing notes during class?” Not only that, she said it REALLY loudly and Daiyu and I ended up getting detention. Not only that, the teacher made me read what was in the note out loud!
Daiyu: I think that’s when we started hating each other lol. Ever since then we started pranking each other.
Miya: That era was like WAR!

Question 04 - Do you enjoy working with Daiyu?
Miya: Yeah, I really do. I think we make a really good duo and we have great chemistry and teamwork.I wouldn’t choose anyone else to be my partner.
Daiyu: Awww, I wouldn;t choose anyone else for my partner either!

Question 05 - What was your favorite outfit from your current and previous comebacks?
Miya: I loved the outfit from our debut stage. It was really cute! And for this comeback I really liked the black outfit I was wearing for one of our Villain stages!

Daiyu: Yeah, same! The outfit we were wearing for our debut was super cute!

Question 06 - What are your favorite books/movies?
Miya: My favorite movie is this thriller movie called Forgotten and nowadays I don’t read many books, mostly just webtoons.

Question 07 - What k-dramas are you watching right now?
Miya: I’m currently watching the k-drama Happiness. It’s really good and I suggest you guys watch it especially if you like All of Us Are Dead because this k-drama also includes zombies!
Daiyu: She has a serious obsession with zombies for some reason.

Question 08 - Who's your LOONA bias?
Miya: My bias is Yeojin and my bias wrecker is Chuu and Kim Lip!
Daiyu: I don’t really like the group but Gowon and Heejin seem cool.
